Paint Correction

Paint Correction & Polish
in Miami

Take the swirls out of it.

Machine polishing that removes swirls, light scratches and oxidation instead of filling them in until the next wash. Two levels, priced to the damage — not to the car.

What it actually is

This isn't cleaning.
It's removing paint.

Every swirl in your paint is a physical groove cut into the clear coat. No product fills them permanently and no wax hides them in direct sun. The only way to remove a groove is to machine-polish the clear coat around it down to the same level.

That is what machine correction does: a cutting stage on a dual-action machine, panel by panel, taking off a controlled few microns. What comes back is the depth and reflection the paint had before years of washing put a haze over it.

Clear coat is finite. You get a limited number of corrections in a car's life, which is why we measure paint thickness before a pad touches it — and why we will tell you if your car has already had one too many.

Honest expectations

What polishing
can and can't do.

We would rather lose the booking than have you expect a hundred percent and get sixty-five. Here is the line, drawn before you pay.

What it fixes

  • Swirl marks and wash-induced spider-webbing
  • Light scratches your fingernail does not catch in
  • Oxidation and dull, chalky-looking paint
  • Water spots and light etching
  • Buffer trails left by a previous shop
  • Overall gloss, depth and color clarity

What it won't fix

  • Deep scratches that have cut through the clear coat
  • Anything your fingernail catches in
  • Chips down to primer or bare metal
  • Cracked, peeling or failing clear coat
  • Dents, creases and body damage
  • Sanding marks left by a bad respray

Rule of thumb: run a fingernail across the scratch. If it catches, the defect has gone through the clear coat and polishing will not remove it — anyone who says otherwise is planning to cut until they hit primer. If it glides over, it comes out.

The Process

How we do it.

Four stages, in this order, every time. The test section in stage three is yours to approve before we commit to the rest of the car.

  1. Wash and decontaminate

The car is foamed, hand washed and chemically decontaminated. Polishing a dirty panel grinds grit into the clear coat, so nothing starts until the paint is surgically clean.

  2. Clay bar and measure

Clay lifts whatever chemicals left behind. Then we take paint thickness readings across the car. Clear coat is finite, and we will not polish a panel we cannot read.

  3. Machine polish

A cutting stage, panel by panel, on a dual-action machine. We do one test section first and show it to you side by side with an untouched panel before committing to the rest of the car.

  4. Inspect and protect

Every panel gets checked under a swirl-finder light and wiped with IPA to strip polishing oils before the coating goes on. What you see at handover is the real finish, not oils hiding defects.
